Brisas Fashion silk chiffon stoles are unique design-led double-layer mulberry silk shawls feature striking hand embroidered designs hand crafted upon a base of sheer organza mulberry silk, then encapsulated within an additional silk layer to create these perfect lightweight and comfortable stylish accessory.

Each shawl begins its journey at the Brisas Creative Centre in West Bengal, India, where skilled artisans twist the mulberry silk threads into yarn. This yarn is then run into shapes inspired by leaves, vines or circular patterns, which are meticulously hand-stitched using the Kantha technique onto the base layer. Once the artisan is satisfied the pattern design is set, a second layer of transparent silk is attached, beautifully encapsulating the pattern into a sophisticated Shiruku sutoru transparent shawl, measuring 24 inches x 72 inches (60 cm x 180 cm).

The craft behind each of these delicate pieces creates extremely soft, lush and comfortable neck and shoulder wear and the natural fibre of silk against the skin makes them perfect companions for special occasions.
