This yarn is then run into diamond or circular patterns, which are meticulously hand-stitched using the Kantha technique onto the base layer. Once the artisan is satisfied the pattern design is set, a second layer of transparent silk is attached, beautifully encapsulating the pattern into a sophisticated Monokuro transparent shawl, measuring 60 cm x 180 cm..
