Rooted in the creative spirit  of Glastonbur’s Famous Kidzfeild, ‘Hidden Valley is where music, passion, and community come alive. Founded by Nick Turner of Hawkwind in the 1970s and sustained by a vibrant collective of resident musicians, producers, and technicians, the Valley is a haven where all ages mix, children thrive, and adults learn new skills or polish old ones; it’s a place where everyone is welcome and music, craft, learning, and hospitality abound.

Among this eclectic team of the valley’s creators, producers, and sound technicians is Chris May—himself a musician, craftsperson, artist, video producer and important part of the KidZfield yearly setup and production team, who, working closely with Nick and his family, has helped transform the valley over the years into a multifaceted creative centre. The project centres around the old farm buildings, which have been converted into a recording studio and craft workshop, producing many of the essential props for fantastical stagings, signs, and screen prints, much of the Kidzfeild’s setup originates within their workshops..
